GK: Mile Svilar (Roma)

The Giallorossi's reserve goalkeeper made his second straight start and gave coach Daniele De Rossi a lot to think about with a standout performance in their win at Frosinone, particularly in the first half with their backs against the wall. "He saved us," the interim boss admitted afterwards. "He'll now get the space he deserves in the team."

RB: Marc Pubill (Almerรญa)

The 20-year-old receive the Man of the Match award for his performance in Almerรญa's 1-1 draw at Granada, capped off by his venomous early strike to open the scoring and continue his impressive start to LaLiga life after arriving from Levante.

CB: Waldemar Anton (Stuttgart)

Vital at both ends of the field in Stuttgart's 2-1 win over Darmstadt, particularly as they attempted to see out the second half with a man disadvantage, he contributed in a major way with an assist and a crucial clearance off the line.

CB: Yunis Abdelhamid (Reims)

It has been a long time coming but the Frenchman finally netted his first Ligue 1 goal as part of an impressive showing for PSG in their 2-0 win away to Nantes.

CM: Martin ร˜degaard (Arsenal)

His showing in Arsenal's 5-0 win at Burnley was the epitome of a captain's performance. Completely in control of proceedings, he opened the scoring early, assisted Bukayo Saka with a slick pass and cut the Clarets open repeatedly. He's a joy to watch right now.

CM: Kevin Stรธger (Bochum)

The Austrian converted the penalty which proved to be decisive in his side's 3-2 win over Bayern Munich but also had an assist with his precise dead-ball delivery and covered an exceptional 12.37km throughout the contest too, frustrating the visiting midfield from start to finish.

CM: Xavi Simons (Leipzig)

A dazzling display from the Dutchman, the kind which had sporting director Rouven Schrรถder admitting afterwards that he should be enjoyed while he is still at the club because he's set to return to PSG this summer and will be unlikely to leave again. His opening goal was a delight and of the calibre that only the division's elite players could pull off.

RW: Simon Adingra (Brighton)

He is enjoying the best spell of his career at the moment. Fresh from his Africa Cup of Nations success with the Ivory Coast in which he was a key player, the 22-year-old was unstoppable in Brighton's 5-0 thrashing of Sheffield United, scoring twice and terrorising their beleaguered defence.

ST: Jonathan David (Lille)

The Canadian single-handedly took Le Havre down with a 35-minute hat-trick in Lille's 3-0 victory. It was the second treble of his career with the Ligue 1 side, meaning he has now netted more than former heroes such as Eden Hazard, Salomon Kalou and Divock Origi, per Squawka.

LW: รngel Correa (Atlรฉtico de Madrid)

Atleti don't break out in a goal glut often under Diego Simeone but thanks to Correa, they ruthlessly put five unanswered goals past Las Palmas on Sunday, the Argentine scoring twice and assisting another in the thrashing.
