Osimhen could snub Chelsea to wait for PSG dream | OneFootball

Reports are growing in Germany and Italy that Victor Osimhen is by no means convinced about going to Chelsea, as he is holding out for PSG, which could block Romelu Lukaku to Napoli.

Only over the last 24 hours have Chelsea decided to really begin negotiations for the Nigeria international, as until now they had been looking towards other candidates for the attack.

The collapse of the deal with Atletico Madrid for Samu Omorodion prompted this change of heart, along with Napoli’s desire to sign Lukaku in part-exchange.

However, after Sky Sport Italia warned today that Osimhen is still not eager on the idea of a Stamford Bridge switch because they are not in the Champions League, now Sky Sports Deutschland transfer pundit Florian Plettenberg adds more to the story.

It is suggested that he is waiting for Paris Saint-Germain, who have come closest to a move for the striker so far, but were not prepared to pay the €100m plus add-ons asking price.

That could change as they get to the end of the summer and still need big names to replace Kylian Mbappé.

Osimhen is also not prepared to accept a pay cut on the €10m per season he earns at Napoli.
