According to L’Équipe, Ousmane Dembélé (27) returned to PSG training on Monday dealing a boost to Les Parisiens ahead of their UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg against Arsenal on Wednesday. The Ligue 1 champions hold a one-goal advantage heading into the second match of the tie.

The France international attacker was thought to be a doubt for the second leg against the Gunners after he sustained a hamstring injury. Dembélé was left out of PSG’s 2-1 defeat against Strasbourg in Ligue 1 on Saturday. However, so were several others at Luis Enrique decided to rotate his squad ahead of the crucial European tie.

Set to start?

Optimism is growing that Dembélé could be involved for the match against the Premier League club. He completed gym work yesterday and has returned to first-team training today. If everything goes according to plan, the 27-year-old could be fit to start to match on Wednesday.
