Nantes’ talented winger Stredair Appuah (20) is attracting interest from Italy, as both Palermo and Venezia have inquired about the player.

Despite having played only nine professional games in his career over the past two seasons, Stredair Appuah is gathering interest for his performance with Nantes’ reserve team. Last season, the France U20 international was one of Nantes’ standout players in their fairytale run to the semi-finals of the UEFA Youth League, ultimately losing to a penalty shootout against Olympiacos. During their campaign, Nantes have beaten the likes of Sevilla FC, RB Salzburg, and Copenhagen. While Appuah will probably have more opportunities to show his talents this season, the right winger could be tempted by a potential first experience abroad.

According to a report by L’Equipe, Venezia have already sent an opening bid worth €1.8M to Nantes for Stredair Appuah. Les Canaries have placed a €3M-valuation on their player, who is under contract until 2026. Palermo have also informed the club of their interest in the Paris-born winger but have yet to make a formal bid.
