Argentina have released the list of players called up for the upcoming international engagements.

Argentina’s technical commissioner, Lionel Scaloni, has made official the list of players called up for the next qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup.

The matches against Chile and Colombia will be held respectively on 5 September at 9.00 pm (local time) and on the 10th September at 5.30pm (local time).

Two Roma players stand out among those called up: Leandro Paredes and Matias Soulé.

Paulo Dybala, however, remains absent. His failure to be called up continues to cause discussion, as the Roma attacker was excluded this time too, after not being called up for the Copa America.

Despite the expectations of fans and media alike, Scaloni has decided to leave out Roma’s number 21, whose future also seems distant from the Italian capital.
