Argentina rounded off their June internationals with an easy 2-0 win over Indonesia.
Scorers: Paredes 38′, Romero 55′
The reigning world champions were without the likes of Lionel Messi, Nicolas Otamendi and Angel Di Maria in Jakarta as coach Lionel Scaloni looked to blood some new players.
The likes of Alejandro Garnacho, German Pezzella and Julian Alvarez started the match as this long and arduous season took one last bow.
The South American side were enjoying all of the ball in the first half as they opened the scoring on 38 minutes as Leandro Paredes fired in a stunning strike from 30 yards.
Into the second half and Argentina doubled their advantage soon after the break as Cristian Romero headed home.
Scaloni’s men then made a raft of changes as their foot was taken off the gas and the win was secured.
