Following the diagnosis, Pellegrini is likely to choose to undergo surgery.

According to La Repubblica, Pellegrini will reportedly consider market options only after surgery as he is expected to remain out for 2 months.

His future at Roma is at risk: the player’s entourage are already looking for offers from other clubs in light of his expiring contract in 2026.
