Chris Sutton has praised Graham Potter but doesn’t see a happy return to Chelsea for the boss.
Potter takes his West Ham side to Stamford Bridge on Monday night to take on the club who dismissed him 18 months ago, with our Hammers in a confident mood due to the upturn in performances in recent weeks.
The impact Potter has had on West Ham is evident, even to BBC Sport pundit Sutton, however he doesn’t see a positive result for the cockney boys occurring.
“Chelsea manager Graham Potter is back at the Bridge but I don’t see it being a happy return for him,” said Sutton.
“West Ham have actually performed well since Potter replaced Julen Lopetegui, and looked lively, but results have still been mixed.
“Chelsea need a new goalkeeper and probably another centre-forward too if they are going to push on but even with what they have, I still think they will be too strong for West Ham. Sutton’s prediction: 2-1
