Burnley, Oxford and Wolves step up in FA Women’s National League title races, Peterborough stay top after overcoming three-goal deficit at Notts County.
Northern Premier Division

Burnley beat Derby 2-0 to go second and Wolves defeated Rugby by the same score with a Charlotte Greengrass brace to leapfrog Borough into third place. Liverpool Feds went level on points with Rugby after victory at Stourbridge. Nottingham Forest put eight past Halifax, Stoke moved into the top half with six goals past Sporting Khalsa. Hull edged West Brom to sit within a point of the Baggies, Helen Lynskey’s goal in the second half making the difference.
Southern Premier Division

Hashtag went three points clear with as many goals at Wimbledon, while the goalless draw between Ipswich and Watford allowed Oxford to go second with all three goals of the game at Cheltenham. Lewes climbed a couple of places to seventh when seeing off Plymouth, Gwalia United beat basement side MK Dons 4-0. Exeter were three up against Billericay at the break, when the match was abandoned due to a corner of the pitch at St James Park having become flooded.

Division 1 Midlands

Notts County narrowly lost a seven-goal thriller to leaders Peterborough, letting slip a 3-0 lead as Lauren Wilshaw contributed two goals to Posh’s amazing fightback. A first ever win in the league for Worcester came against Boldmere. Lou McCreadie of Barnsley Women was sent off in their loss at Northampton, Leafield went third after defeating Lincoln City, while Lincoln United edged Sutton with Alice Hayes’ stoppage-time decider.
Division 1 North

Chorley held leaders Middlesbrough to a goalless draw, Leeds going second a point behind Boro following a 3-2 success at Cheadle where Kath Smith found the home net twice. Barnsley FC beat Stockport with three spectacular strikes, Huddersfield’s Leah Embley scored twice including a penalty for three points at Durham Cestria, Bianca Owens netted Norton’s winner at Doncaster, York beat Fylde to get off the bottom at their expense.
Division 1 South East

Norwich and Real Bedford both remain unbeaten after drawing 0-0, over 500 saw Dulwich defeat Actonians to rise to fourth spot. Sudbury just got the better of hosts Ashford in a nine-goal game, Ellie Rossiter with a couple and Lina Nagib netting the winner. QPR beat Chesham by a single Grace Stanley goal, London Bees won 4-0 at Cambridge, while London Seaward’s game with Chatham was abandoned after a serious injury to their Beatrice Rogers.

Megan Jarvis netted a 94th-minute equaliser as newcomers Bristol Rovers ended Swindon’s perfect run. Five-goal Moneyfields moved level on points with second-placed AFC Bournemouth, Worthing won 3-1 at Bridgwater to go fifth, despite the first-half dismissal of Amelia Davies. Maidenhead made the top half with victory over Portishead, Katie Kingshott hit two of Bournemouth Sports’ three at Abingdon.
