Real Madrid icon Cristiano Ronaldo could not hide his happiness for Barcelona starlet Lamine Yamal on Friday.
This comes after the young attacker secured for himself his latest piece of individual silverware.
The latest edition of the Globe Soccer Awards took place this evening, in a lavish ceremony in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
A whole host of the game’s standout players saw their efforts over the course of the year recognised, with the likes of Ronaldo, Vinícius Jr. and Jude Bellingham having scooped awards.
The aforementioned Lamine Yamal, meanwhile, was named Best Emerging Player, as the explosive winger continues to make a name for himself as a generational talent at the age of just 17.
Amongst those watching on as Lamine made his way onto the stage to receive his accolade was Cristiano Ronaldo, who just recently had great things to when drawn on the potential boasted by the Spanish international.
And CR7 put Real Madrid/Barcelona rivalries aside once more with his reaction, the 39-year-old having looked thrilled for Lamine, as showcased below:
