Liverpool travel to Devon to face Plymouth Argyle in the fourth round of the FA Cup this afternoon.
During midweek, the Reds booked their place in the Carabao Cup final with an accomplished 4-0 victory over Tottenham.
Arne Slot will be without Trent Alexander-Arnold at his disposal as the defender recovers from a thigh injury. Joe Gomez has returned to training after missing over a month of action but Tyler Morton is ruled out with a shoulder problem.
Plymouth are currently propping up the Championship table but will relish the test of the Premier League leaders.
Former Everton defender Brendon Galloway is projected to miss the rest of the season with a hip injury. Full-back Joe Edwards and versatile defender Kornel Szucs are also unavailable for this afternoon’s tie.

Miron Muslic and his players remained rooted to the bottom of the second tier despite beating West Brom 2-1 last weekend.
Ryan Hardie came off the bench to bag a brace for the Pilgrims to overturn the deficit late on. That victory last Saturday was Muslic’s first league win in charge of the club. It was also Plymouth’s first success in 15 league games.
The only other triumph under the Austrian’s leadership was in this competition away to Brentford. A stunning strike from Morgan Whittaker meant Plymouth caused an upset against Premier League opposition.
Their statistics in the Championship don’t make pretty reading for fans of the Green Army. They have shipped the most goals by far in the division, with 63, and only Stoke have scored less than their 29 goals.

Liverpool are only one game away from defending their Carabao Cup title after a dominant 4-0 victory over Tottenham at Anfield.
The Reds were a goal down from the first leg but eased their way past Spurs in the second meeting courtesy of goals from Cody Gakpo, Mohamed Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai and Virgil van Dijk.
Arne Slot’s side will now face Newcastle United in the final at Wembley on March 16th.
The Dutchman will likely rest players ahead of their Merseyside derby at Goodison Park on Wednesday night. A win against Everton will see Liverpool extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table to nine points.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool eventually managed to overcome Plymouth Argyle in this competition back in 2017.
Against the odds, the League Two side had earned themselves a replay after holding the Reds to a goalless draw at Anfield.
A resolute defensive display meant the Merseyside club had to make the trip to Home Park on a cold Wednesday night.
However, a combination made in Brazil helped Liverpool break the deadlock within 20 minutes. Philippe Coutinho delivered a dangerous corner which was firmly met by the unmarked Lucas Leiva to put the Reds in front.
The hosts were undeterred by the setback and had numerous chances to level proceedings. Graham Carey’s dipping effort from range was palmed away by Loris Karius and a fledgling Trent Alexander-Arnold crucially intervened to deny Paul Garita a tap-in.
In the second half, a fresh-faced Harry Wilson almost punished Argyle goalkeeper Luke McCormick. The Welshman had closed down the stopper with intent, but his block soared over the crossbar.
Shortly after, Jake Jervis thought he had found the equaliser only for his acrobatic attempt to hit the post with Karius beaten.
The referee then awarded a penalty to Liverpool after Yann Songo’o scythed down Alberto Moreno. Divock Origi stepped up to take the spot-kick only for McCormick to hold his ground and gather the shot.
Despite their best efforts, the hosts couldn’t stop themselves from being eliminated from the competition.
