Paul Pogba and Juventus are set to terminate their contract after June 30 and the midfielder might be ready to retire following a four-year doping ban.

The player had two different spells at Juve, both arriving as a free agent from Manchester United in 2012 and again in 2022, divided by a €105m transfer to Old Trafford in 2016.

He barely featured last season due to a succession of injuries, then after two games in the current campaign, he failed a random Serie A doping test.

There has been no need to do so beforehand, as the salary was still covered by the Growth Decree tax incentives.

The contract is worth €8m per season plus €2m in bonuses and runs to June 2026.

He is still training with Juventus, but once the contract is terminated, it might be time for the 31-year-old to consider retirement.
