Sarina Wiegman's team put in one of their worst 45 minute performances to date which saw them ship three first half goals to the Belgians.

Former Manchester City forward Tessa Wullaert when she was played over the top and kept her cool to finish past Hannah Hampton inside the first four minutes.

It was Wullaert's set-piece delivery that set up the second as Everton's Justine Vanhaevermaet headed in for 2-0.

The third goal came with just under a half hour gone as Davina Philtjens put in a low cross from the left that Wullaert finished for her second of the game.

The Lionesses did pull one back in the first half from the spot which Beth Mead converted with the visitors' only shot on target of the first half.

With the game heading closer to the end, Wiegman brought on late call-up Michelle Agyemang and the teenager made an instant impact.

The Arsenal striker, who is on loan at Brighton, did brilliantly well to control Leah Williamson's ball before firing into the net just seconds after coming on.

But England couldn't find an equaliser and now move down to second in Group 3 after Spain thrashed Portugal 7-1.
