The Westfalen roller coaster won't come to a halt! Ahead of Matchday 26, BVB fans around the world will ask themselves the same old question: Which version of Dortmund will we get this time? The Black and Yellows are a conundrum in every sense of the word.

When you bet on them, they fall flat on their face. When you count them out, they defy logic and draw you back in. The discrepancy between BVB's form in the Bundesliga and in the Champions League is nothing new. Nonetheless, to lose at home to Augsburg and only a couple days later progress to the quarter-finals of Europe's biggest club competition is a one-eighty that the players themselves probably can't even explain.

In Leipzig, they are exercising similar demons. Marco Rose has been no stranger to scrutiny in the Red Bull Arena after crashing out in the League Phase of the UCL with only three points and winning just one of the previous five games. However, advancing to the semifinal of the DFB Pokal by beating Wolfsburg helped to slightly calm the waters in Saxony.

Dortmund would be well advised to extend the little momentum that they currently have against Leipzig, as the rest of their schedule doesn't get any friendlier. An in-form Mainz, Freiburg and Bayern Munich (sandwiched by Barcelona at home and away). All these challenges await the lads as soon as they return from their national teams at the end of the month.
