Heading into this match, Leicester City were met with unfortunate injury news. Abdul Fatawu is believed to be out for the season. While a return date is not yet set, he will certainly not play against Chelsea this weekend, or any close match for that matter.

So, with Abdul Fatawu out, here is the predicted Leicester vs Chelsea.

Predicted Leicester lineup vs Chelsea

GK - Mads Hermansen. The Danish goalkeeper has been one of the standout goalkeepers in the Premier League this season. He will look to keep out the likes of Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke.

RB - James Justin. Started every game except for one in the Premier League. Justin is a staple at the back, and he will need to be defensively resilient considering Chelsea's impressive wide-play.

CB - Wout Faes. Played the entire 90 minutes in both of Belgium's international break fixtures. However, the Foxes can afford him no rest. He will need to be at his best.

CB - Jannik Vestergaard. Like his defensive partner, Vestergaard also got no rest, playing the entirety of two matches in the international break. Still, they should both be match sharp.

LB - Victor Kristiansen. Scored an own goal in the last Premier League match against Man United. Therefore, the Danish full-back will hope for a better time against Chelsea to boost his confidence.

CM - Harry Winks. Has plenty of experience facing Chelsea. As one of their former rivals, this game could be personal for Winks. Still, that might suit Leicester.

CM - Wilfred Ndidi. Started every league match for Leicester so far. He has been one of our most important players, providing the engine in midfield. That will not change against Chelsea.

CM - Boubakary Soumaré. Made his first start of the season last time out. It wasn't the first league start he'd have hoped for. Hopefully, this one will be a smoother ride.

LW - Stephy Mavididi. With Abdul Fatawu out injured, Mavididi could come into the side to replace him. It's about time Stephy got a consistent run out in the starting eleven.
