The Premier League has agreed to opening the summer transfer window early this year, giving those participating in the Club World Cup the chance to sign and register players before the tournament begins.
The summer transfer window typically opens officially on 1 July, but this year, in line with other European leagues, the Premier League has agreed to an early registration period, which will begin on Sunday 1 June and end on Tuesday 10 June.
The transfer window will then open again on Monday 16 June, and close on Monday 1 September.
The first ever FIFA Club World Cup to be held in summer will take place in the United States between 15 June and 13 July.
Manchester City and Chelsea will be the Premier League's representatives at the tournament, which will feature 32 clubs from around the world for the first time ever.
Earlier this week it was reported that the winners of the tournament could earn as much as £97m in prize money.
