According to Foot Mercato, Premier League clubs are interested in signing Diogo Leite (26) from Union Berlin in the summer transfer window. The Portuguese centre back has impressed this summer and is likely to leave the Bundesliga at the end of the season.

Premier League clubs are not the only ones showing an interest in the 26-year-old. The Union Berlin defender is also attracting interest from clubs in Serie A ahead of a potential move in the summer when the transfer window reopens. AC Milan and RB Leipzig showed an interest in signing the former Porto centre back last summer but were unsuccessful in their attempts to complete a potential transfer.

The Bundesliga club valued Leite at €18m last summer. Therefore, it will likely take a bid of a similar value for the Berlin club to part ways with their central defender. Leite has played 30 matches in the German top flight this term, scoring one goal and registering two assists.
