Recent reports from SPORT have shed light on the price Manchester United are asking for their star forward, who has been linked to Barcelona.
The Premier League club, currently experiencing a challenging period on the pitch, has set its sights on the future with the arrival of Ruben Amorim as their new manager.
Amidst these changes, Rashford’s future at United has come under scrutiny, and the club has now revealed the price they would accept for his departure.
In the past few weeks, it has been reported that Barcelona, along with PSG and Bayern Munich, have shown interest in Rashford.
Manchester United, in a surprising move, is willing to consider offers of around £40 million (roughly €48 million) for the 27-year-old forward.

This asking price is significantly lower than the £100 million figure the club had reportedly set during Rashford’s impressive 30-goal season.
However, the sharp drop in the player’s form has forced United to reduce their demands. Rashford has struggled this season, netting only 7 goals in 22 appearances, and his hefty weekly wage of £325,000 has further complicated matters.
Given their current predicament, United is even open to selling Rashford during the upcoming winter transfer window to raise funds and potentially strengthen the squad.
However, the club recognizes that the January market is unlikely to yield significant offers, meaning the sale could be postponed until the summer.
Interestingly, this is not the first time Rashford’s name has been linked with Barcelona. In fact, during Josep Bartomeu’s presidency, the club explored the possibility of signing him.
Now, with his performances on the decline, he is not a top priority for Barcelona. Nevertheless, the club’s sporting management continues to monitor the striker market, keeping an eye on potential opportunities as they look to strengthen their options.
