Manchester United kick things off at Southampton

Manchester City sit on top of the Premier League table ahead of the return to domestic action after the international break.

It is Manchester United, however, who get this Premier League weekend underway when they travel to Southampton in Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off. After two consecutive defeats, Erik ten Hag’s side need a morale-boosting victory.

The action then continues during a busy 3pm programme. City host Brentford, while Fulham and West Ham contest a London derby at Craven Cottage. High-flying Liverpool welcome Nottingham Forest as Crystal Palace entertain Leicester.

Sunday then offers up perhaps the biggest game of the season so far. Tottenham meet Arsenal in the north London derby at 2pm in what is no doubt the headline fixture of the weekend.
