Liverpool can move 11 points clear of Manchester City if they beat the champions on Sunday
Liverpool sit on top of the Premier League table ahead of their showdown with Manchester City on Sunday.
The Reds opened up an eight-point gap on the champions by beating Southampton 3-2 in dramatic fashion last weekend, while Man City’s crisis continued when they were thrashed 4-0 by Tottenham.
Brighton could move into second ahead of City if they can beat the Saints on Friday night in the first game of the weekend.
A busy Saturday afternoon sees Crystal Palace host Newcastle as they look to move out of the relegation zone, while Brentford are attempting to continue their excellent home record when they host managerless Leicester.
Arsenal, who have title dreams of their own, make the short trip across to West Ham in Saturday’s late kick-off.
A busy Sunday brings Aston Villa to high-flying Chelsea, while Spurs entertain Fulham. Ruben Amorim, meanwhile, will oversee his first home game in charge of Manchester United when they welcome Everton.
The action then wraps up when City make the huge trip to Anfield.
