Blues blow chance to put pressure on Liverpool
Liverpool lead the way in the Premier League table ahead of another huge weekend of action.
It is crisis club Tottenham, however, who kick-off the weekend’s schedule when they host high-flying Newcastle in Saturday’s early game.
A busy afternoon then continues as Manchester City look to build on their win over Leicester when they host West Ham. Chelsea, meanwhile, are looking to turn their recent slump around in their trip to Crystal Palace. Brentford host Southampton.
Arsenal then make the journey down to Brighton, knowing three points on the south coast would see them close the gap on leaders Liverpool down to just three points – albeit Arne Slot’s side will have two games in hand.
Sunday then sees Fulham host Ipswich before the Reds entrain bitter rivals and a seriously out of form Manchester United.
The final game of the game week has Nottingham Forest traveling to Wolves on Monday night.
