Liverpool continue to set the pace

Liverpool are top of the Premier League table but face a busy week after their FA Cup defeat to Plymouth.

Arne Slot’s side were knocked out by the Championship struggles and must dust themselves down quickly as they travel to Everton on Wednesday for the final Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.

The action then continues on Friday as Chelsea make another trip down to Brighton, looking for revenge after losing in the FA Cup last weekend.

A busy Saturday sees Arsenal return from warm-weather training in Dubai at Leicester, while Manchester City host Newcastle. West Ham entertain Brentford in a London derby, while Fulham welcome high-flying Nottingham Forest.

Crystal Palace meet the Toffees in the Saturday evening kick-off.
