The Blues have taken four points from their two group stage matches so far and they are well-positioned to push for a place in the quarter-finals after Christmas.
Chelsea manager Emma Hayes has confirmed that her side continue to be without the services of captain Millie Bright who is out until the new year. Dutch defender Aniek Nouwen has been ruled out of action for the remainder of the season while Catarina Macario, Kateřina Svitková and Jelena Čanković are not yet fit to feature. German midfielder Melanie Leupolz could return this evening.
BK Häcken arrive at The Bridge having collected maximum points so far. Head coach Mak Lind does not have any fresh injury concerns to contend with ahead of this evening’s match. BK Häcken remain without long-term absentees Anna Csiki and Stine Larsen while Elin Rubensson is slowly rebuilding her fitness. Alexandra Hellekant and Hanna Wijk are out until early 2024.
