Derby County and Burnley face off this Tuesday at Pride Park Stadium in the EFL Championship on Tuesday night.

The Rams have picked up 41 points and currently lie in 21st position after their four-game winning streak was brought to an end by a 1-0 reverse against Swansea City last weekend.

Burnley, meanwhile, ascended to top spot after both Sheffield United and Leeds failed to win - the Clarets now at the summit of the division on 84 points. In their last fixture, Scott Parker's team won 1-2 against Coventry City and they appear to be timing their automatic promotion push to perfection. That said, they face a Rams' team that has picked up markedly under John Eustace and who will be fighting for their lives on home turf.

The last meeting between the two teams ended in a 0-0 draw.

The Fan Zone

Cody Hancock (Rams Review): The four-match winning run is over. The Rams suffered defeat to Swansea at the weekend yet , despite this, they remain outside the drop zone on goal difference.

Derby should still be in a jubilant mood knowing that they have what it takes to compete in this division. Top scorer Jerry Yates will be back in the Derby side after missing the match against the Swans (he couldn’t play against his parent club).

His work rate off the ball is a huge plus and it was a noticeable miss at the weekend. Manager John Eustace and the squad will be keen to right the ship and get back to winning ways.

However, Burnley won’t want to give up their position at the top of the table easily and with a historically tight defence, Derby will find it difficult to break down (as many others have this season). Derby on the other hand, will also try and keep it tight as they are under the lights at Pride Park for the last time this season.

If this was at Turf Moor, then the Clarets would win, but at home the Rams are tough to beat. A goal-less stalemate is on the cards, which would provide Derby a priceless (and probably unexpected) point in their fight for survival.

Prediction: 0-0
