Plymouth Argyle and Coventry City face each other this Monday at Home Park in Matchweek 44 of the EFL Championship.

The Pilgrims' second tier status is hanging by a thread after a  2-1 reverse against Middlesbrough last time out - the Devon club losing after a controversially-awarded last minute penalty.

Coventry, meanwhile, enter the clash in fine fettle after an impressive 2-0 derby win against West Bromwich on Good Friday.

The last meeting between the two teams ended in a comfortable 4-0 win for the Sky Blues.

The Fan Zone

Tom Sleeman : Plymouth Argyle come into Monday's clash with play-off hopefuls Coventry City knowing that defeat against the Sky Blues could finally resign them to relegation.

Miron Muslic's side will feel aggrieved not to have picked up anything on the road against Middlesborough on Easter Friday after a late controversial penalty cost the Pilgrims what would have been a well-earned point in their hopes for survival.

The Devon side will be without club captain, Joe Edwards who was sent-off as a result of the aforementioned penalty decision. The former Yeovil man looks set to be replaced by Bali Mumba on the right with Nathaniel Ogbeta or Tymoteucz Puchacz coming into the side on the left. Other than this enforced change, you would expect Muslic to name an unchanged side.

Prediction: 1-2

Ross Cooper (Sky Blues Extra): Another game, another massive opportunity for the Sky Blues. Fresh off the back of what was a fantastic result and performance to see off play-off chasers West Brom, we now face a battling Plymouth Argyle side in their own back yard. Somewhere they have been strong this season and it promises to be another very difficult match.

We need a win, we are at that stage of the season where wins are the only thing that can guarantee that we will finish in the 'Top Six' and we have to take care of our own business. We have put ourselves in the driving seat and it’s now time to see the job through.

Frank Lampard will have us fired up and we have to play with the same tempo we showed on Friday. If we do, I’m confident our quality will come through and prove decisive.

Prediction: 1-3
