THE MATCH

An important match for Zanchetta's boys, who started with the right attitude and took control of the match after 10 minutes, taking the lead thanks to a goal by De Pieri, who exchanged passes with Lavelli and finished with a precise left-footer at the far post. Inter took possession and kept pushing. Before the half hour mark, Motta tried his luck but didn't hit the target and De Pieri's shot ended up wide. Plenty of creative ideas for Zanchetta's team, who in the 37th minute doubled the score with a perfectly constructed play. Berenbruch opened up the left for Quieto, who provided a perfect assist for Bovo's first goal of the season. At the end of the first half, Lecce tried to respond with Yilmaz but Zamarian made a double save.

In the second half, Winkelmann and Mboko came on for Lecce, while Zanchetta kept the same eleven. The first change for Inter was forced, in fact, in the 50th minute, when Quieto left the pitch due to injury and Mosconi came on in his place. Inter's attitude remained the same, organised, aggressive, and continuing to create chances. In the 55th minute, Pacia saved a shot from Lavelli and on the one hour mark, Mosconi sent a low left-footer attempt, calling Lecce's goalkeeper into action. Spinaccè also played a key role in the second half, coming close to scoring first with a left-footer, then with a header. The third goal came in the 66th minute with a perfect placement from Berenbruch, who headed the ball into the goal following a gentle assist from Aidoo, thus securing the win. The Nerazzurri remained in full control of the match until the final whistle and now have 46 points in the league table.
