Manchester United will surely be impacted by one of the latest transfer updates from Fabrizio Romano.
The Italian journalist has posted on X about Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi looking set to stay at his current club despite Napoli also making proposals for the Germany international.
If Napoli are indeed set to miss out on Adeyemi, it will surely mean they’re now set to move for an alternative, as they urgently need a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia following his recent move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Corriere dello Sport recently reported that Napoli were keen on both Adeyemi and Man United winger Alejandro Garnacho, so could this development mean they now go back in for the Red Devils attacker?

Adeyemi could have been a good option for Napoli, but Dortmund will no doubt be glad that he seems set to stay put.
Garnacho might be more realistic for the Serie A giants, as United probably won’t be too concerned about losing him, while the player himself might also be more open to leaving Old Trafford after a difficult season.

Garnacho initially looked like a hugely exciting prospect when he first broke into the United team, but he’s now looking less assured of a place since Ruben Amorim became manager.
The 20-year-old may therefore do well to Napoli and get more playing time to get his career back on track.
If Napoli can’t land Adeyemi or Garnacho, it remains to be seen if there could be a third option out there for them.
Liverpool’s Federico Chiesa, for instance, might make sense as someone to look at as he’s not been playing much at Anfield, though he previously impressed during a career in Serie A with Fiorentina and Juventus.
