Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has insisted there is no truth to rumours linking his side with a move for Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah.
Salah is approaching the final six months of his contract with Liverpool and will soon be able to hold talks with overseas clubs about a summer transfer, with PSG recently claimed to be in a strong position to secure the Egyptian's signature.
Quizzed on the speculation, Al-Khelaifi quickly shot down claims his side are chasing Salah on a free transfer.
"It's not true," he told Sky Sports Germany. "He's a fantastic and amazing player, but we've never considered him, to be honest.
"We know every club would love to have him, but this rumour about us is simply not true."

Al-Khelaifi did, however, admit PSG will "explore opportunities" in January if any potential deals arise.
Salah is believed to be frustrated with Liverpool's inaction when it comes to offering him a new contract, with a short-term extension a satisfactory outcome for the 32-year-old.
Public comments, such as suggesting the recent meeting with Manchester City could be his final battle with the Cityzens at Anfield, have been laughed off by manager Arne Slot, who has repeatedly insisted he will not discuss Salah's future in public.
