Paris Saint-Germain could be looking to bolster its attack before the summer transfer window closes. Additionally, it appears the Parisians have found the player they’re looking for in Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman.

Lookman has been in the transfer rumor mill this summer as news have linked him to top clubs. A recent report revealed that Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester United have all expressed interest at one point.

Nonetheless, the reigning Ligue 1 champions have won the race for Lookman as journalist Rudy Galetti confirms that Lookman and PSG have reached an agreement in principle on personal terms.

Galetti adds that the decision now rests with the clubs. Atalanta is awaiting an official offer from the French team to determine the future of the Nigerian goal scorer.

Lookman has been with Atalanta since 2022 and made 45 appearances last season while scoring 17 goals and recording 10 assists. The 26-year-old’s standout performance from last campaign came in the Europa League final, scoring a hat-trick against Bayer Leverkusen.

It will be interesting to see if this deal gets done or if another club decides to swoop in to secure Lookman in these final days for the summer window.
