PSG remain in negotiations with Aston Villa for West Ham target Jhon Duran | OneFootball

According to a report from Matteo Morretto, Paris Saint-Germain remain in discussions with Aston Villa to sign Jhon Duran (21). The Premier League club are demanding a fee of more than €70m for the Colombian international attacker.

Due to the Birmingham-based club’s large asking price for the 21-year-old forward, discussions between Les Parisiens and Villa are described as complicated and difficult. PSG are not the only club in the race to sign Duran. West Ham United have also shown an interest in the forward – seeing a £57m bid rebuffed by their divisional rivals to sign the centre forward.

A summer target

While talks continue between the Ligue 1 champions and Aston Villa over a potential deal for Duran, the Colombian is seen as a target for the summer transfer window rather than the winter window. This could favour the Villians as they hope to keep hold of the forward as they bid to qualify for the Champions League in successive seasons.
