According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Paris Saint-Germain could re-ignite their interest in Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (23).

Back in the summer, PSG reportedly showed an intense interest in signing the Georgia international, in the wake of Kylian Mbappé’s departure to Real Madrid. Ultimately, no left-winger was signed and Les Parisiens surprisingly didn’t strengthen in any of the forward positions during the summer transfer window.

And whilst Bradley Barcola, the top goal-scorer in Ligue 1 with 10 goals so far, continues to impress, recent reports in France suggest that Luis Enrique wants to add extra depth and quality, particularly on the left wing. It is within this context that the link to Kvaratskhelia has emerged.

Napoli are still pushing to extend the forward’s contract, although the release clause remains a sticking point in negotiations. All the while, Barcelona and PSG are sniffing, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. Luis Enrique remains a big fan of the Georgia international and last summer’s interest could therefore be re-kindled.
