Paris Saint-Germain are keeping close tabs on River Plate midfielder Franco Mastantuono as the summer transfer window approaches—but they’re far from alone. Several top clubs across Europe are also tracking the highly rated teenager.
According to TyC Sports’ Germán García Grova, PSG have already opened talks and made Mastantuono a top priority. The French giants now join a growing list of suitors for the young Argentine.
Transfer insider César Luis Merlo has previously reported that Manchester United have shown the most serious interest so far. The club has scouted Mastantuono in person and knows his €45 million release clause could be a deciding factor in any move.

PSG have joined Real Madrid and Manchester United among 17 European clubs expressing interest in Mastantuono, according to Diario Olé.
The report notes that six Premier League clubs, including newly crowned champions Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea, are also in the mix. Mastantuono, whose contract with River expires in December 2027 and has a €45 million release clause, reportedly has no preference for his next club.
Chelsea are reportedly making a strong push to sign Mastantuono as part of their ongoing efforts to bring in top young talent from around the world, as previously reported by CaughtOffside.
River Plate, however, are firm in their stance, setting Mastantuono’s release clause at €45 million. They’ve made it clear that they won’t let the highly sought-after midfielder leave unless that amount is met, leaving top European clubs interested in the teenager with a crucial decision to make in the coming weeks.
