Warren Zaïre-Emery (18) will miss around three weeks of action after suffering an ankle sprain during Paris Saint-Germain’s UEFA Champions League win over VfB Stuttgart (4-1) on Wednesday night.

It was a big night for PSG, who secured their progression in the Champions League. They went to Germany needing just one point to secure their progression but they did more than that, dominating their opponent and securing a comprehensive victory.

Neves also injured for PSG

However, they have lost Zaïre-Emery in the process. The France international was forced off during the game and PSG have now confirmed an ankle sprain. He will miss three weeks’ worth of action, which will see him miss some key fixtures, notably against Stade Brestois, AS Monaco and Olympique Lyonnais. He could even be a doubt for the Champions League play-off.

João Neves also suffered an injury during Les Parisiens’ win in Germany. He received a blow on the foot and will be rested over the coming days, meaning that he will not face Brest this weekend.
