Rangers flop reportedly on verge of Ibrox exit | OneFootball

Rangers are to reportedly ship out the first January exit of the window after reports claimed that rabbi Matondo to exit the club after a dreadful 2 1/2 years in Govan.

Unfortunately, this is not a sale but just a loan with the farmer Wales international never having managed to convince in his entire 36 month or so spell at Ibrox.

These reports are not yet confirmed to come from a slightly dubious source, but they are also very plausible because we understand that he alongside Dowell and a few others have been told they are surplus.

Signed by Ross Wilson in 2022 for £3 million it is safe to say that Matondo Rangers career never really got started. Injuries and a general lack of form meant that he was unable to convince and never got any kind of a run in the team.

He was also extremely guilty of dreadful decision-making whereby taking the wrong option seem to be his only option.

For £3 million and almost 3 years Rangers have had very little return on their investment and he is not a player that too many supporters will miss.

A Rangers TV skit may have revealed him to be the funniest squad member, but unfortunately, his poor performances were no laughing matter.

Hopefully he gets the right club to finally get his career started because it clearly did not work out at Ibrox.
