Rangers are within reach of the Europa League quarter-finals ahead of facing Fenerbahce in the second leg of their last-16 tie.
The Scottish side upset the odds to claim a 3-1 win in Istanbul, with Barry Ferguson’s side boasting a two-goal advantage to protect at Ibrox. Amid a troubled season it was a huge result and performance from The Gers, who upset the form book to claim a big win.
Victory for Rangers will set up a quarter-final clash against either Athletic Bilbao or Roma in the next round.
Fenerbahce have had a full week to prepare for the second leg, as Jose Mourinho looks to keep alive in European dream. Mourinho can become the first coach to win the Europa League with three clubs this season, though will require a stunning turnaround in Glasgow to ensure progress for Fenerbahce tonight.
Leon Balogun is set to be given the nod at centre-back for Rangers. Balogun was introduced as a substitute last week, after Robin Propper suffered a head injury in a collision with teammate Jack Butland. Concussion protocols are set to sideline Propper.
Neraysho Kasanwirjo remains a long-term absentee with a knee injury. Václav Černý scored twice in the first-leg win and now has six goals in the Europa League this season. Only Olympiacos forward Ayoub El-Kaabi has netted more (7).
Rangers predicted XI: Butland; Tavernier, Souttar, Balogun; Yilmaz, Barron, Raskin, Jefte; Diomande, Cerny; Dessers.
