Roma manager Claudio Ranieri shared his views on Lorenzo Pellegrini’s season being over following his most recent injury.

In light of the Roma skipper’s difficult situation and uncertain future, Ranieri gave his opinion on the matter.

“When I can’t get someone to perform at their level, it really feels like a personal defeat,” Ranieri told reporters during today’s press conference.

“So he’ll be part of that, this season. Every player who can’t perform at his best becomes a personal defeat because I know his potential and what he’s tried to give me,” said Ranieri.
