There were more shocking scorelines and upturns for the books in Gameweek 10 than any other so far in the Premier League this season.

It was Liverpool who were the big winners at the top of the table as they took advantage of surprise defeats for title rivals Arsenal and Manchester City, while Southampton finally broke their duck by picking up three points for the first time in 2024/25.

As ever, there were some star performances throughout England's top flight, with a number of players pulling out their best when it mattered most.

With that in mind, here are 90min's best players from Gameweek 10.

7. Bruno Fernandes

Bruno Fernandes' complete lack of form proved to be a major problem during Erik ten Hag's final few months in charge at Manchester United. The Portuguese maestro had more red cards than goals after the West Ham defeat, but Ruud van Nistelrooy has managed to get him firing again.It was the 30-year-old's penalty that put the Red Devils ahead against Chelsea on Sunday, priming the hosts to claim three vital points at Old Trafford.Those dreams were crushed a few minutes later as the visitors hit back, but Fernandes did at least provide some leadership which has been completely missing from his game so far this year.

6. Tino Livramento

Just about everything went according to plan for Newcastle United in Saturday's early kick-off.Anthony Gordon set up Alexander Isak early on for the only goal of the game and from that point on the Magpies made life tremendously difficult for the traveling Arsenal, with Tino Livramento one of the architects of their downfall.The former Southampton full-back shut out Gabriel Martinelli and didn't allow Leandro Trossard any space when the Belgian drifted out wide.

5. Joe Gomez

Joe Gomez had quite the assignment on Saturday afternoon. Brighton & Hove Albion were well worth their 1-0 lead at Anfield and Liverpool were struggling to break them down. Their hopes took another blow when first choice centre-back Ibrahima Konate was downed by injury and had to come off.Thankfully for Arne Slot, Gomez showed no signs of rust and produced a composed 45 minutes in the second half. The England international couldn't end his goal draught despite having two shots on target but more importantly let nothing through him alongside Virgil van Dijk as goals from Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah turned the result on its head.

4. Antoine Semenyo

Who had Bournemouth beating Manchester City on their Premier League bingo cards this weekend, then?It's a second major scalp for Andoni Iraola's Cherries after downing Arsenal earlier in the campaign and it was fully deserved, with Antoine Semenyo playing a star role in the victory.The 24-year-old was Bournemouth's most dangerous outlet all afternoon and showed great composure to fire them ahead early on, profiting from the first of left-back Milos Kerkez's assists.

3. Harry Wilson

Fulham were banging on the door all night during Monday's clash with Brentford but it just seemed like their efforts were going to count for little.However, a truly monstrous cameo from Wales international Harry Wilson changed all that. The 27-year-old came up with a stunning injury-time brace having only been introduced in the 82nd minute.Wilson first improvised with a brilliant flick to level proceedings and then headed in Antonee Robinson's cross to steal all the points.

Chelsea's trip to United was undoubtedly a slugfest at points, with the game not evolving beyond midfield scraps until it ignited with two goals in the second half.Moises Caicedo hasn't had the plaudits some of his teammates have merited in recent weeks, but the Ecuadorian's performance was paramount as the Blues left Old Trafford with a deserved point.It was his precise volley from the edge of the box which drew Chelsea level straight after Fernandes' penalty, though his two tackles, two clearances and four recoveries were arguably more important throughout the contest.

If there was ever a weekend for Dominic Solanke to enjoy the fruits of his labour, it was this one.Tottenham Hotspur were faced with a typically dogged Aston Villa side on Sunday and unsurprisingly gave up a goal despite their clear supremacy in the game, but two moments of quality from their £65m striker made sure the points would be heading in the hosts' direction.A wonderful dink was followed by a tap in as Spurs ran away with it, with Solanke's incredible work rate rewarded with two goals to power Ange Postecoglou's side to a much-needed win.
