Raúl Gudiño has given Chivas a boost by taking a full part in training this weekend.

According to reports in Mexico, the goalkeeper was taken off in last Wednesday’s friendly against Atlético San Luis after suffering a heavy collision.

The Flock were hurt by his absence, as Atlético went on to put five goals past replacement stopper José Antonio Rodríguez en route to a 5-2 victory.

However, social media posts show Gudiño was back in action at Verde Valle as Los Rojiblancos continue preparations for their Guard1anes 2021 opener at Puebla this Friday.

Gudiño came close to leaving the Guadalajara outfit last summer.

However, he stayed and managed to establish himself as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper (displacing Rodríguez) during the Guard1anes 2020 campaign.
