Sky Germany reports that if Xavi Simons leaves RB Leipzig in the summer, then they will demand a fee of at least €80m which would make a profit on their winter signing.

Currently, the future of the 21-year-old is up in the air. It is not certain he will leave but it is also not ruled out that he could stay at the Red Bull Arena, the key matter is if the club qualifies for the Champions League this season, they are currently fifth.

If Simons does leave, Leipzig have set a price tag of €80m and if interested teams offer north of this fee, Leipzig would be happy to sell the Dutch international. On top of this, if the offer is right and Simons wants the move, the Saxony side will not put any obstacles in the way.

In the winter, Simons joined Leipzig permanently for €50m and if a transfer in the summer is to materialise than Leipzig would like to make a substantial fee. In recent weeks there had been talk about Simons’ attitude as well as his form, but against Borussia Dortmund at the weekend, he silenced those doubters with a goal and assist in a 2-0 win.
