Real Madrid have already bid goodbye to a few of their stars, with Toni Kroos retiring and the likes of Nacho Fernandez and Joselu leaving the club.

In the days to come, though, more exits are likely, with Dani Ceballos one of the players who could leave in search of regular game-time.

Andriy Lunin could leave too

Another player who could be on his way out of the Santiago Bernabeu, according to The Athletic, is goalkeeper Andriy Lunin.

The 25-year-old shot-stopper enjoyed a breakthrough campaign this past season, impressing in the absence of Thibaut Courtois.

However, the Belgian’s return from injury saw Lunin immediately get benched for the UEFA Champions League final, which has seemingly not gone down too well with his entourage.

There had been talks of the Ukrainian ace signing a new contract with the club and even though he has been presented with an offer, the player is yet to respond.

As such, Lunin’s future is shrouded in uncertainty, with the report from The Athletic stating that the goalkeeper is attracting interest from clubs in the Premier League.

While no teams have been mentioned as suitors, there have been past links to Manchester United, although it is unclear whether the Red Devils are indeed seriously interested in him.

Kepa an option to replace Lunin

In case Lunin does end up leaving Real Madrid this summer, the Merengues are weighing up the possibility of re-signing Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea.

The Spaniard spent the last season on loan at the Bernabeu and would be open to a return to the club if a chance presented itself.

Much will depend on Lunin and his decision as the Ukrainian weighs up the option of continuing at Real Madrid or moving to the Premier League.
