In a recent report, Mundo Deportivo revealed that Real Madrid are hoping to land Fluminense youngster Kaua Elias. It has been mentioned that Los Blancos will have to rival Barcelona in the race to sign the Brazilian striker.
The 17-year-old has come through the youth ranks of the Brazilian club and has done well to break into their first team recently. Elias has made one senior appearance for Fluminense thus far. The Brazilian whizkid has caught the eye with his performances for Brazil’s Under-17 team as he has banged in nine goals in 12 matches for them in all competitions.
Elias is under contract at the Brazilian club until the end of 2026 which would make it difficult for Real Madrid to sign him on the cheap this winter or at the end of this campaign.

Elias can engineer some space for himself to get some strikes in at goal. He can even create the odd chance for his teammates and is a good dribbler with the ball. The Brazilian talent has proven himself to be a consistent goal-getter in the youth levels of Brazilian football. However, he is still quite raw and would need time before he is ready to feature regularly in top-flight football.
At 17, Elias has the potential to become a future star at the highest level. Hence, he would be a great, long-term signing for Los Blancos to consider before the end of this month. An experienced manager like Carlo Ancelotti would be the perfect man to oversee Elias’ development and unlock the best out of him at the Madrid club.
Furthermore, Elias could follow in the footsteps of his countrymen, Vinicus Jr. and Rodrygo if Real Madrid manage to get him on board soon. There is no doubt that he is a prospect to watch out for in the future. Hence, the Spanish giants should focus on going all out to recruit him this year. However, only time will tell whether he can handle the growing expectations at a top club like Real Madrid if Ancelotti manage to snap him up soon.
