La Liga giants Real Madrid could well be unable to call on two of the club’s most highly-regarded youngsters for their next pre-season outing.

That’s according to the reliable Guillermo Rai of The Athletic, who points towards Arda Güler and Endrick as the pair in question.

As those of a Real Madrid persuasion will be aware, both midfielder Güler and frontman Endrick were afforded starting berths in the club’s first two fixtures on their pre-season tour of the USA.

As much came en route to successive narrow defeats at the hands of AC Milan and Barcelona.

The Blancos faithful, in turn, were no doubt looking forward to seeing the prodigious duo back in action once more in the early hours of Wednesday.

This comes as Carlo Ancelotti’s troops prepare to face off with Premier League heavyweights Chelsea.

As alluded to above, however, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then the Spanish champions may well be forced to make do without the contributions of either Güler or Endrick next time out.

As per Real insider Guillermo Rai, both players have sat out training early this week, owing to ‘overloads’.

Their respective statuses to face Chelsea are therefore considered as being up in the air.
