Real Madrid made short work of their Copa del Rey last-32 encounter against fourth-tier Arandina.
Scorers: Nacho (OG) 90+4; Joselu (PEN) 54′, Díaz 55′, Rodrygo 90+1′
Arda Güler made a long-awaited debut for Carlo Ancelotti’s side and threatened to start in fine form with a free kick which clipped Adrián Álvarez’s righthand post.
Los Blancos required a spot of fortune to open the floodgates as Brahim Díaz won a penalty early in the second half from which Joselu comfortably dispatched.
The pair combined just a minute later as Díaz joined the score sheet by powering home after Joselu’s initial blocked attempt broke fortuitously for him inside the area.
Rodrygo swept home a third in added time before the notched a late consolation through Nacho turning Raly Cabral’s shot into his own net as the reigning holders eased into the Round of 16.
