Real Madrid have joined the race to sign Brazilian sensation Luis Guilherme in the summer, according to Fichajes. The La Liga club believe that the youngster can turn into an elite player in future and they want to invest early to get the returns later.
Luis Guilherme is one of the hot prospects in Brazilian football at present. Coming through the ranks of Palmeiras, he got promoted to the senior side last year. Though he is not a regular feature yet, he has been impressive and showcased his massive talent.

The Brazilian attacker has featured in 12 games this season, netting once. He is averaging 0.5 shots, 1 key pass, and 2 dribbles per game (stats via whoscored). Though he mainly plays on the right wing, he is versatile enough to play in the other attacking positions as well.
Guilherme has sheer pace and clocked a top speed of 36.4km/h. He likes to cut in towards the goal to create danger. He has incredible striking ability and he doesn’t miss many shots. With experience and training, he is bound to emerge as a world-class winger.
Real Madrid’s interest in Luis Guilherme is understandable as they have invested in multiple South American players over the past few years. The investments in many players have returned good value as they became a mainstay in the senior side.
Now the Whites have locked their eyes on Guilherme, whose contract with Palmeiras expires in the summer of 2026. His market value is said to be €50 million. But the Spanish giant might hesitate to spend that much for the youngster.
On the other hand, major European clubs like Manchester City, Barcelona, Liverpool, and Manchester United are also keeping tabs on the 18-year-old. It remains to be seen who wins the race and acquires the services of Luis Guilherme at the end.
