Real Madrid 'reach verbal agreement' for €100m Aurélien Tchouaméni deal

Real Madrid have reportedly reached an agreement with Monaco over a deal for in-demand midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni.

That is according to The Athletic, who state that the overall value of the transfer is north of €100 million and has now been verbally agreed upon.

The clubs are currently in the process of finalising paperwork before the signing is officially announced.

Tchouaméni has chosen the European champions despite also having interest from Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool and Manchester United.

He was a key part of the Monaco side which finished third last season and has also now established himself as a France regular.
