It appears Real Madrid have taken major positives from the way they responded to Barcelona in the Copa Del Rey final.

In many ways, Los Blancos were quite unlucky not to secure the Copa Del Rey title, as they were undone by two late goals, both in regular time and in extra time.

Real Madrid will have a chance to seek retribution as they are slated to take on Barcelona in La Liga on May 11.

This will be an excellent opportunity for the club to reduce the gap at the top of the league table, which stands at around 4 points.

That said, it will be imperative that Real Madrid continue winning matches in La Liga if they are to have any hopes of pipping Barcelona come the end of the season.
