A headline member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid is expected to be crowned the winner of two prestigious awards in the near future.

That’s according to Marca, who point towards Vinícius Jr. as the player in question.

Wide-man Vinícius is for his part of course fresh off a spectacular campaign in 2023/24.

All told, in 39 appearances across all competitions, the Brazilian international racked up 24 goals, to go along with 11 assists.

Crucially, several such goal contributions came on the grandest stages, in the Champions League’s latter rounds, Vinícius again stepping up to the plate when it mattered most.

And, for this reason, amongst others, the expectation is that the 24-year-old will soon be recognised by the football world…

As per a report from Real Madrid insider José Félix Díaz of Marca:

‘The months ahead are going to be exciting for Vini, starting with what will happen in Monaco in less than two weeks, when he will be proclaimed the best player of the last edition of the Champions League. Later, the Ballon d’Or or FIFA’s The Best will appear on the horizon.’
