La Liga giants Real Madrid have this evening been dealt an altogether considerable blow on the personnel front.

This comes amid confirmation that, in the case of Los Blancos booking their spot in the Last-16 of the Champions League, Jude Bellingham will play no part in the tie’s first leg.

Real are of course currently locked in action on the continent.

After putting Manchester City to the sword by three goals to two at The Etihad last week, the Spanish champions have welcomed Pep Guardiola’s side to the Santiago Bernabéu, for the tie’s return leg.

And the evening’s hosts have since only built on their advantage yet further.

Owing to a superb Kylian Mbappé brace, Real Madrid lead Man City by two goals to nil.

With one foot already in the knockout rounds of the Champions League, though, Carlo Ancelotti and co. have also been dealt a blow.

This comes with Jude Bellingham, fresh off picking up a domestic suspension over the weekend, now in line for a European ban, too.

Owing to his latest yellow card picked up in the first-half on Wednesday, the England international is in line for a one-game absence, to be served in the first leg of Real’s expected Last-16 tie.
