In a recent report, Relevo claimed that Real Madrid starlet Sergio Arribas is generating interest from Germany with Bayer 04 Leverkusen showing interest in recruiting him this summer. It is believed that Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso is a big admirer of the youngster and could make a move to sign him from Los Blancos.
Arribas has come up the youth ranks of Real Madrid and has done well to make 14 senior appearances for them so far, finding the back of the net on one occasion in the process on all fronts. However, he is still waiting to bag his first assist for the Madrid club.
The Spanish whizkid has caught the eye at times with his performances in the final third but has failed to establish himself as a regular feature in Carlo Ancelotti’s match-day squad.
His current deal at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium is set to expire in the summer of 2025. Thus, there is no immediate need for Ancelotti to let him go unless he receives a favorable offer for the player in this off-season.

Arribas can create a yard of space for himself to get some strikes in on-target. He can create the odd chance for his teammates in the opponent’s half and is a decent dribbler with the ball as well. Arribas is primarily an attacking midfielder but can also fill in as a wide player on either flank if asked to do so by his manager.
However, the Spanish whizkid is still quite raw and would need more time to prove his worth at the highest level. At the moment, he is not close to getting into Ancelotti’s first XI. Thus, it is only fair to the player if Los Blancos allow him to leave before the end of this transfer window.
At 21, Arribas has got a bright future ahead but only if he can ensure regular first-team opportunities in the coming seasons. Currently, Real Madrid have not got the luxury to offer him regular playing time, so Ancelotti should consider letting him go ahead of the new campaign.
