The dust hasn’t even settled on Spain’s EURO 2024 triumph yet, but Spanish and European champions Real Madrid are already preparing for the new season.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti and several Blancos stars reported for the first day of pre-season on Monday, with the Italian tactician meeting with his backroom team to discuss how they will go about defending their titles in 2024/25.

It was also a day when those players who did not feature for their country at this summer’s tournaments reported for their medical check-ups, with Thibaut Courtois, Brahim Díaz, Lucas Vázquez and Dani Ceballos all being put through their paces.
